The Shell Chair is made of molded walnut plywood and comes upholstered in high-grade leather or stain-resistant fabric. The iconic design is versatile and suitable for modern homes, with the added comfort of waterproof Aniline leather and a reclined angle for a truly relaxing experience.
Each piece of leather develops a unique patina over time, with varying color tones and patterns like marble or timber.
The Shell Chair, available in Pony Hide and Aniline Leather, has hand-sewn seams, uses original Danish under-tuck lock-stitch, while the wood frame is uniformly kiln dried and triple sanded for a smooth finish. The chair also includes 5 coats of durable UV Cured hard polyurethane finish and floor protection caps on the legs.
